Rehabilitation Coordinators provide psychiatric rehabilitation services as identified in each client’s Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP), which includes integrating clients in the community: assisting clients to obtain housing, employment and community services, and developing independent living skills, parental skills, and more.

Requirements

  • Serving minors: at minimum 60 hours of on-the-job direct PRP supervision before providing services, plus a bachelor’s degree in a mental health or health-related field, or an associate degree, or 30 hours (or equivalent) of college credit toward a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, or 1 year of work experience in a supervised mental health setting
  • Serving adults: at minimum 40 hours of PRP training before independently providing PRP services, and a high school diploma or equivalency
  • Need to acquire DLA-20 functional assessment training through University of Maryland or another identified agency

We are seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice. This part-time position is ideal for a provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults in a warm, family-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, personable, and committed to providing evidence-based mental health treatment while maintaining the highest standards of documentation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new patients
  • Provide ongoing medication management services

Requirements

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • Active DEA registration and CDS license (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, including children as young as 3 years old
  • Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management
  • Ability to independently develop and manage treatment plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with exceptional bedside manner
  • Commitment to compassionate, culturally sensitive, family-centered care
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Must be eligible and willing to serve as a clinical preceptor for nurse practitioner students

Preferred

Stipend
